Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and insightful assessments to identify clients' mental health and substance use concerns, effectively diagnosing co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Renco Health & Rehabilitation Center, you will primarily work with adults experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Your role will entail providing compassionate support to clients from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate their unique challenges and work towards sustainable recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic interventions for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A strong understanding of the dynamics between mental health and substance use disorders.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
