Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that encompass crisis management, medication histories, and behavioral strategies tailored to individual client needs.

• Employ evidence-based screening tools to assist in evaluating clients’ mental health interventions.

• Collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans that address the specific needs of clients.

• Actively engage in the agency’s licensing and accreditation processes, demonstrating adherence to best practices.

• Serve as a key liaison to various service systems, state agencies, and community organizations to facilitate holistic support for clients.

• Maintain open and effective communication within the agency and with external stakeholders to promote program offerings and foster community relationships.

• Establish and nurture partnerships with local and state agencies, exploring new opportunities for alliances, funding, and resources to enhance service delivery.

• Pursue ongoing professional development by attending conferences, trainings, and participating in community discussions relevant to mental health.

• Promote the agency’s mission and values actively within the community and perform other related duties as assigned by the Clinic Director.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will primarily work with a diverse population encompassing individuals dealing with mental health issues, substance use disorders, and those requiring counseling for developmental disabilities. Qualifications\n
