Home Health Occupational Therapist

*Parx Home Health Care is looking for a talented Occupational Therapist to join our team! *

The *Occupational Therapist* will be responsible for providing high quality and coordinated care to patients in their homes and communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home health care, an understanding of state and federal regulations, and a passion for helping patients live their best lives.

*What youll be doing:*

* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans for each client, tailored to their specific needs and goals
* Evaluate and treat clients with physical and cognitive limitations to help them improve their daily living skills, range of motion, strength, and balance
* Utilize adaptive equipment and recommend modifications to the client's environment to enhance their independence and safety
* Educate clients and their caregivers on ways to manage their condition and prevent future injuries
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client assessments, progress notes, and care plans
* Stay current with new developments and research in occupational therapy
* Adhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards of practice
* Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards of nursing practice

*What we expect from you:*

* Active license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Florida
* Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an Occupational Therapist
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
* Passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care

Pay: $55.93 - $61.12 per hour
