Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Body Holistics, you will work onsite in our modern rehabilitation facility equipped with the latest technologies and therapeutic tools. Your typical work hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The environment is fast-paced yet supportive, ensuring that you can provide individualized attention to each patient while working alongside a team of committed professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual goals and challenges.
• Deliver hands-on therapy, utilizing various modalities to address pain, improve range of motion, and enhance mobility.
• Maintain a manageable patient load to ensure each individual receives adequate attention and support.
• Implement evidence-based interventions with a strong focus on orthopedic outpatient care, continually adapting strategies based on patient progress.
• Employ cost-effective, non-surgical treatment techniques to reduce the need for medication and expedite recovery.
• Create and oversee customized fitness and wellness programs aimed at developing strength, flexibility, balance, and overall physical capability.
• Document patient responses and maintain accurate records using EMR software, specifically WebPT, to streamline patient management and care.
• Motivate patients through positive reinforcement, facilitating their journey towards optimal physical functioning.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care and facilitate referrals when necessary.
• Continuously assess treatment efficacy and adjust care plans to reflect each patient's evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgical procedures, and chronic pain conditions. Our patient population ranges from athletes seeking to improve performance and prevent injuries to older adults requiring rehabilitation post-surgery or to manage age-related conditions. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on their recovery journeys, encouraging them to regain independence and improve their daily functioning.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field with a focus on rehabilitation.
• An active and unblemished physical therapy license in the state of New York.
• Strong proficiency in various therapeutic techniques, particularly in manual therapy modalities.
• Competence in designing and implementing exercise programs tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for accurate documentation and communication.
• Current knowledge of best practices and research-backed physical therapy methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, particularly in handling orthopedic cases.
• Proven track record of successfully improving patient outcomes through exceptional rehabilitation practices.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
