This position is responsible for identifying and partnering with new customers, cultivating relationships with existing customers, and supporting customer acquisition, growth, and retention initiatives. This role focuses on driving significant growth for the organization, targeting developers, design firms, and procurement firms in the luxury Hospitality segment. Visual Comfort Offers: Work-Life Balance: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm Training & Development: A comprehensive and structured training program, complemented by ongoing education and opportunities for career advancement. Compensation: Competitive compensation plan including base salary and monthly commissions Health Benefits: Visual Comfort covers the majority of employee medical premiums, and offers competitive vision and dental coverage available starting the first day of the month following your start date. Insurance: Company-provided life insurance and short-term disability coverage. Retirement: 401(k) plan with company matching up to 4%, available beginning the first of the month following your hire date. How success is defined: Leads all aspects of the project life-cycle, from specification to procurement, marketing and operational resources to assist in solution development or implementation. Ability to access target customers and project leads; conduct 16 face to face sales calls per week Ability to effectively present Visual Comfort’s value proposition in order to influence customers Network with developers, design and procurement firms. Adept at managing existing customers to ensure retention and continued sales growth. Uses proprietary CRM to manage a priority-based schedule with existing and target customers Develop a strong knowledge of Visual Comfort’s product offering, service value propositions, and operating systems Capable of analyzing and interpreting data to drive decision making Works effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems. Exhibits and adheres to the established Visual Comfort Company Values. Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule while being present in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teams. What you will bring: 5+ years in FF&E product sales in the Hospitality industry A comprehensive understanding of the FF&E, and/or lighting specifiers Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field required. Proven track record of cultivating relationships with key decision makers in the specification, approval, and purchasing process Passion for design and construction markets Strong analytical and decision-making skills Independent, proactive and self-motivated person who will offer exceptional service to our customers Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation Proficient computer skills utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite of software, including word processing, presentations, spreadsheets, and Outlook. Experience with a CRM system preferred.
