This position offers the unique opportunity to work remotely while providing essential mental health services to our diverse clientele. This role comes with a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, plus a sign-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations by gathering detailed information through preliminary interviews and assessments, allowing for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans that address the needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups. Tailor interventions based on specific challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based modalities and therapeutic techniques to foster healing and personal growth.
\n
• Monitor client progress throughout the therapeutic journey, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary and ensuring that each client remains on track toward their recovery goals.

• Collaborate effectively with other professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create cohesive care plans and manage referrals effectively.
\n
• Identify potential barriers to recovery and implement preventive strategies, actively working to mitigate behaviors that may impede the therapeutic process.

• Support families and primary caregivers in navigating mental health challenges, providing them with resources and strategies to support their loved ones effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Grey Remedies, you will work with a broad spectrum of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our clientele may deal with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and various behavioral health challenges. Your role will be critical in fostering a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard and empowered to pursue their mental health goals.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proven experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic practices and interventions.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as AVATAR for the efficient management of client information and documentation.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of mental health conditions, including co-occurring substance use disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, combined with an empathetic and personable approach.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with patients from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of mental health challenges.

• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
