Make an immediate impact supporting middle school students with significant support needs in a dynamic educational setting. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to contribute meaningfully as a paraprofessional, working closely with a small group of 6th to 8th graders in a welcoming classroom environment. The assignment is scheduled to begin right away and may extend through the end of May, with a consistent weekly schedule of 35 hours.

Key Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting
• Comfortable supporting students with significant support needs
• Ability to adapt quickly to classroom routines and individualized plans
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Patience and a positive attitude while engaging with middle school students

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct classroom support to a caseload of five students
• Implement educational and behavioral plans as directed by certified staff
• Assist with personal care and mobility needs as required
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and school staff to address each student’s unique needs
• Contribute to a positive learning experience that promotes student growth and confidence
