Administrative Assistant

Donald Smith Company is hiring a full-time Administrative Assistant in Headland, AL . Donald Smith Company is a family-owned and operated water well drilling and pump repair company that has been in business for over 80 years . As an Administrative Assistant , you will provide administrative and clerical support to department managers and staff while helping keep day-to-day operations organized and efficient. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Answer phone calls, emails, and other correspondence Schedule appointments, meetings, and events Maintain calendars, records, files, and confidential documents Prepare letters, proposals, reports, spreadsheets, and other business documents Manage office supplies and assist with ordering materials Perform data entry, filing, photocopying, scanning, and other administrative tasks Coordinate communication between staff, clients, customers, and management Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally Provide general administrative support to department managers and staff as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training is a plus Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office, administrative, or clerical setting Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and accuracy Professional and dependable with a strong customer-service mindset Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) Paid vacation 8 paid holidays Career growth opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr Page Mechanical Group, Inc.
