Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify co-occurring disorders and tailor individualized treatment plans for each client.

• Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic strategies addressing the unique needs and goals of clients.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on addiction-related issues, trauma, and other mental health challenges.

• Monitor clients’ progress, reassessing and adjusting treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes throughout their rehabilitation journey.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and addiction specialists, to provide holistic, integrated care.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, coping strategies, and principles of recovery, fostering a supportive environment for healing.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to legal and ethical standards to protect client privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve adults experiencing addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders, providing them with the necessary tools to navigate their recovery. Many clients may have complex needs stemming from trauma, anxiety, depression, or other mental health issues. Your ability to empathize and connect with clients from diverse backgrounds will be crucial in fostering a therapeutic alliance that encourages personal growth and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.

Compensation and Benefits\n
