Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Pacific Bay Behavioral Clinic, you will be responsible for:

• Providing ongoing individual and group therapy sessions tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers when referral or additional support is needed.

• Documenting sessions accurately in the electronic health record and ensuring compliance with confidentiality guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a diverse array of clients, including those facing issues such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a therapeutic setting.

• A thorough understanding of a range of mental health disorders and a proficiency in evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Exceptional crisis management skills and the ability to remain calm and effective during high-pressure situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
