There is a lot to learn in insurance. We are looking for someone curious enough to want to learn it and organized enough to keep track of all of it.

Ivy Risk is looking for someone earlier in their insurance career who wants to learn how complex commercial accounts actually work. This role will support the day-to-day servicing and marketing process while developing technical knowledge and experience.

\n

We are a boutique commercial insurance and risk strategy firm serving commercial real estate owners and developers. We combine big-broker capabilities with boutique advocacy, helping clients structure their risk strategically, while navigating the process in a way that can make it (almost) enjoyable.

Our goal is not to sell more insurance. It's actually quite the opposite.

\n

What you’ll be learning and doing\n

\n
• Keeping account data, applications, exposure information, and policy documents organized, accurate, and protected.
\n
• Tracking renewals, outstanding information, open requests and important deadlines.
\n
• Collecting information from clients and following up on underwriting information as needed.
\n
• Assisting with the entire marketing process both for new business and renewal business. This includes the assembly of underwriting submissions, follow-through of marketing activity, carrier negotiations and overall project management.

• Supporting certificates, endorsements, audits, claims follow-up and other day-to-day client service requests.
\n
• Preparing drafts of client communications, proposals and executive summaries.
\n
• Learning how to audit policies and identify key terms, coverages, and exclusions, with an emphasis in real estate and development.
\n
• Using our systems and technology to improve how information is managed and work is completed.
\n

• Are comfortable asking questions when something does not make sense.

• Are open and eager to learn new systems and technology quickly.
\n
• Can manage multiple open items at once, prioritize effectively, and follow tasks through to completion.

• Have experience in insurance, commercial real estate, financial services, legal services, or another detail-heavy client environment (helpful, but not required).
\n
• Hold an insurance license or are willing to complete the licensing required for the position.
\n

Insurance knowledge will come with time and training. The habits that matter from the beginning are accuracy, follow-through, curiosity and a real interest in understanding how the pieces fit together.

This is a hybrid role based in South Florida. Compensation will be based on experience, licensing, and the level of responsibility you are ready to assume.
