Mid-Market Account Executive

This is a pure hunting role. You will own a defined territory of commercial accounts, build pipeline from the ground up, and drive the full sales cycle from first contact to signed contract. Youll be selling our Zero Trust SASE platform to IT and security leaders at commercial organizations, working both directly and through channel partners to maximize your territorys potential. We are looking for someone who thrives generating their own opportunities, who can build credibility quickly with technical buyers, and who has the competitive drive to win in a crowded market. If you love to hunt and you have a track record to prove it, we want to talk./ppWhat Youll Do/pulliOwn a commercial territory and develop a strategic plan to drive net new logo acquisition and revenue growth/liliBuild pipeline independently through outbound prospecting, partner engagement, industry networking, and leveraging marketing programs/liliRun the full sales cycle discovery, qualification, technical evaluation, negotiation, and close with minimal hand-holding/liliConduct compelling discovery conversations and solution presentations that connect iboss capabilities to the specific security challenges and business goals of each prospect/liliDevelop and maintain strong relationships with IT directors, security managers, and other key decision-makers across your accounts/liliCollaborate with channel partners to co-develop pipeline and bring deals to close within your territory/liliWork closely with Sales Engineers to deliver technically credible evaluations that differentiate iboss from the competition/liliMaintain accurate pipeline, activity, and forecast data in Salesforce/liliStay current on the competitive landscape, emerging threats, and market trends to position iboss effectively in every conversation/li/ulpWhat Were Looking For/pulli3+ years of quota-carrying, full-cycle field sales experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise software/liliA genuine hunter someone with a proven ability to self-generate pipeline and open new business without relying on inbound leads/liliConsistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a commercial or mid-market sales role/liliExperience selling through and with channel partners as part of a channel-first or channel-assisted sales motion/liliAbility to articulate complex technical solutions clearly to both technical practitioners and business stakeholders/liliFamiliarity with cybersecurity concepts network security, web filtering, Zero Trust, SASE, or cloud security is a strong advantage/liliHigh sense of urgency, strong organizational habits, and a disciplined approach to territory management/liliProficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications/pulliPrior experience selling network security, cloud security, secure web gateways, or Zero Trust/SASE solutions/liliExisting relationships with IT and security buyers in your target market/liliDemonstrated success winning competitive deals against established vendors/liliBachelors degree or equivalent professional experience/li/ulpWhy iboss/pulliUncapped earning potential with a competitive base and commission structure/liliComprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)/liliRemote-first flexibility with a high-energy, results-driven team culture/liliDirect visibility and access to leadership/liliA product category Zero Trust SASE that is growing fast and selling into a genuine market need/li/ulpThe duties and responsibilities described above are essential functions of the job.
