Work Environment\n

As a remote position, this role offers the flexibility of working from home while still being an integral part of a vibrant clinical team. You will collaborate with educators, school administrators, and other mental health professionals to provide seamless support to students. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed psychosocial assessments to determine the mental health needs of students.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique emotional and behavioral needs.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care approaches.

• Engage in crisis intervention for students in distress, ensuring timely support and referrals to appropriate community resources.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including school counselors, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure a holistic approach to student care.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with all regulations.

• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and peer consultations to enhance professional development and promote best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on students aged 5-18 who may face a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment issues. You will play a crucial role in helping them navigate these obstacles to achieve their educational goals.

Qualifications\n

• Active LCSW license in good standing in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field is required; a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is preferred.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient settings focusing on mental health, children's services, or school-based settings.
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic interventions and crisis intervention techniques.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and staff.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
