Overview:

The Human Resources Manager - Talent Sourcing, Onboarding & Community Partnerships is responsible for building a strong and sustainable talent pipeline for Omni Dallas Hotel through recruitment strategies, engaging onboarding experiences, and impactful community partnerships. This role serves as an ambassador for Omni Dallas, connecting with prospective talent, schools, nonprofit organizations, and community partners to create awareness and interest in hospitality careers.


The HR Manager owns the hotel's recruitment calendar and leads talent sourcing initiatives, job fairs, recruiting events, onboarding compliance, and new associate orientation. This role is ideal for an energetic, relationship-driven HR professional who is passionate about connecting people with opportunities, creating positive candidate experiences, and developing future hospitality professionals.

Responsibilities:

Own and execute the Omni Dallas Hotel recruitment calendar, ensuring consistent and proactive talent sourcing throughout the year

Partner with department leaders to understand staffing needs and develop targeted sourcing strategies

Develop and implement creative plans to actively source and attract qualified talent for open positions across the hotel

Establish, develop, and maintain strong partnerships with local schools, colleges, universities, nonprofit organizations, workforce development organizations, and state and federal agencies

Lead and participate in on-site and off-site job fairs, hiring events, community events, career fairs, and other talent acquisition initiatives

Post open positions on the Omni Hotels careers website, local job boards, and other recruiting sites

Facilitate the scheduling of in-person and online/phone interviews with appropriate decision-makers and interviewers

Ensure that applicants are tracked and moved through the interview/approval process in a timely manner.

Oversee the management for J1 program. Serve as the primary contact for J1, providing support and addressing any concerns.

Serve as a highly visible and engaging ambassador for Omni Dallas Hotel and hospitality careers

Create and maintain a pipeline of future hospitality professionals through internships, career programs, school partnerships, community outreach, and other talent initiatives

Coordinate and lead community partnership activities, including hotel tours, speaking engagements, career presentations, student visits, and hospitality education opportunities

Own the onboarding experience for new associates, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and engaging introduction to Omni Dallas and Omni Hotels & Resorts

Ensure all onboarding and employment compliance requirements are completed accurately and timely

Coordinate and facilitate new associate orientation and onboarding programs

Track recruitment activity, community partnerships, hiring events, and talent pipelines to measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement

Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources and HR team on broader talent, engagement, and associate initiatives

Attend hotel and department meetings as required

Support Associate Services events and initiatives as needed

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business, or related field highly preferred

1-3 years of Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Hospitality, or related experience preferred

Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred; demonstrated leadership potential will be considered

Passion for recruiting, networking, community engagement, and connecting people with career opportunities

Self-motivated, energetic, positive, and proactive approach to talent sourcing

Highly engaging personality with the ability to quickly build relationships and establish trust with candidates, associates, leaders, and community partners

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple recruiting initiatives, events, partnerships, and deadlines simultaneously

Self-motivated with ability to manage deadlines.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English


Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other applicable applications

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
