Accounting Manager

I'm working with a well-established, growing CPA firm on Long Island looking to add an Accounting Manager to its team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with closely held businesses and their owners and wants broader exposure than a highly specialized tax role. You'll manage client relationships and engagements across accounting, tax compliance, planning, and advisory work. Responsibilities: Managing accounting and tax engagements for privately held businesses Reviewing partnership, S Corp, C Corp, and individual tax returns Reviewing financial statements and underlying accounting records Year-round tax planning and business advisory Exposure to sales & use tax and federal/state tax examinations Advising clients on entity structure, business changes, and succession planning Reviewing staff work and mentoring junior team members Working directly with Partners and business owners Requirements: 5+ years of public accounting experience Strong experience with closely held/private businesses Combination of accounting and business tax experience Prior review and client management experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
