Work Environment\n

This position is offered remotely, allowing you the flexibility to operate from your home while connecting with clients via our telehealth platform. Our integrated care facility focuses on teamwork and collaboration among a diverse group of specialists, ensuring that you will always have support and insight from your colleagues, including psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and nurses. You will operate in a structured environment with set office hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional evening shifts as necessary based on client scheduling.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the mental health and substance use disorders of clients, establishing the presence of co-occurring issues and personalizing therapeutic approaches accordingly.

• Work collaboratively with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on equipping clients with essential skills such as emotional regulation, coping mechanisms, and relapse prevention strategies.

• Actively coordinate treatment with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring holistic care through regular consultations with various healthcare professionals.
\n
• Monitor substance use through established frameworks and engage clients in motivational interviews to reinforce their commitment to recovery.
\n
• Provide education to clients and their families about the relationship between mental health and substance use, emphasizing treatment adherence and its importance in their recovery journey.

• Maintain detailed and timely records of client progress, interventions, and referrals, complying with both ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in case reviews and team training to continuously expand skills in the treatment of co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals affected by co-occurring disorders—those battling both mental health issues such as anxiety or depression alongside substance use challenges like addiction. With our commitment to integrated treatment, you will play a pivotal role in helping patients navigate complex emotional landscapes, thus contributing significantly to their recovery processes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic methods relevant to co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment and Motivational Interviewing.

• A deep understanding of the interaction between mental health and substance use disorders, alongside strong interpersonal skills conducive to facilitating collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus to welcome you aboard.
