We are looking to hire an accounts payable specialist to our Corporate Accounting team! We offer the ability to grow in an ever changing environment!

We are looking for detailed oriented, organized and dynamic candidates to handle the day-to-day financial transactions of the assigned stores to handle accounts payables, scanning and other general accounting tasks assigned by the Controller, in alignment with the CarShop Values and culture.

We are looking to hire detail oriented, general accounting professionals to perform clerical duties and ensure accuracy of financial records. These are critical entry level roles in our business!

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Reconciling accounts payable and receivable accounts.
• Tracking and recording payments and deposits.
• Assisting with accounting projects, assembling financial data for audits, reconciling department accounts monthly and preparing reports to present to management.
• Scanning, billing, and other day to day general accounting functions to support the business.

What skills do you need?

• Excel experience is strongly preferred and the experience with V Look Up and Pivot Tables.
• Demonstrate a great attention to detail specifically in the area of records and administration.
• Skilled multi-tasker with excellent time management and communication skills.
• We need analytical thinkers, who maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Candidates will exemplify integrity, strive for self-improvement, and have an open-minded, "can-do" attitude.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug testing, and hold a valid driver's license with a good driving history.

Competencies:

• Knowledge of general accounting procedures
• Proficient in data entry and time management
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office -- Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy of work performed
• Good communication skills both oral and written with the ability to effectively communicate via face-to-face, phone, or other means of communication
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to process data and organize it for management analysis
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or the equivalent and two-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school; and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
