Private Equity Associate
JSS
A private equity firm investing in and operating mid-market businesses across media, entertainment, communications, and technology is looking to add an Associate to their team.
This is a full-cycle role. You'll be involved in sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities across the firm's target sectors. The team is small by design, which means direct exposure to partners and to live deal decisions from day one.
What you'll do:
- Source and screen new investment opportunities
- Build financial models and lead diligence workstreams
- Support execution through close, with post-close involvement on portfolio initiatives
- Work directly with senior team members across the full lifecycle
What they're looking for:
- 2–4 years' experience at a tier 1 investment bank (must have)
- Prior experience in the TMT sector (strongly desirable)
- Genuine interest in media, entertainment, communications, or technology sectors
Location: New York, NY
