Job Responsibilities

• Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's needs to develop tailored therapy strategies that help them achieve their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide well-rounded, holistic care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their caregivers on therapy methods to encourage continuous improvement at home.
• Track and Adjust Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes, documenting developments and modifying treatments to keep patients on the right path.

Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Continuous education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must.
