The Drift Inn is a classic neighborhood diner, offering breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, cocktails, and ice cream. We're built around the idea that good food and drink, at a reasonable price is a timeless value that anyone can get behind. It's not nostalgia, it's just a good restaurant!

As a member of the kitchen you provide our customers an exceptional, consistent experience by following the recipes, being mentally present, thinking on your feet, and offering your thoughts and feedback. Every member of the team works to create an environment where everyone feels respected. This isn't a yelling, screaming, throwing things type kitchen. It's a professional workplace full of adults that work together to get the job done.

Personable and enjoys working with a diverse team

Ability to think on your feet and roll with the changes

Personal interest and enthusiasm for good food and good hospitality

Ability to stand for long periods of time (6 or more hours per shift)

Ability to lift heavy objects (25+ pounds) and work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold

Try your best! If you mess up, just admit it, we're all learning everyday.

Realize that everyone around you is trying their best too. If someone is bothering you, they probably don't mean to, talk to each other.

Know that this is a new restaurant. Things will change, things will be stressful, but we'll get through it by communicating with our coworkers.

Ask for help when you need it. Whether that's with a task you don't understand, or a situation that is overwhelming.

Keep the BoH vs FoH drama out of this restaurant! Everyone is working hard making this place run.

Complete recipes and tasks in a timely manner.

Ensure proper storage and rotation of products. FIFO!

Minimize waste and maximize usage of all food products by following recipes and keeping coolers organized.

Maintain safety and sanitary standards by keeping you, your station, and your kitchen clean and organized.

Take pride in improving the quality of your work each day.

Compensation: Hourly ($19.00 - $24.00)
