Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while being an integral part of a community health clinic. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient scheduling needs. You will collaborate with a diverse team of mental health professionals, fostering a culture of cooperation and support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that prioritize an understanding of each patient’s unique cultural and individual experiences.

• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the needs of patients, using frameworks that respect and acknowledge their cultural backgrounds.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing various mental health issues and enhancing overall well-being.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure coherent care and a holistic approach to treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention support to patients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and immediate emotional support.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatments, and community resources to empower their journey towards recovery.
\n
• Maintain thorough, confidential records of patient interactions in adherence to ethical guidelines and legal standards.

• Engage in regular case discussions and team meetings to share insights, foster collaborative treatment approaches, and promote continuous learning.

• Participate in cultural competency training to stay informed on best practices and current research in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Experience in providing therapy services using culturally responsive methods.
\n
• Proven crisis intervention skills with a calm and effective approach in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for building rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.
\n
• A strong commitment to maintaining ethical practices, professional boundaries, and patient confidentiality.

• A collaborative mindset to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
