Job Description As a Security Officer Access Control in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a financial institution location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while maintaining a visible presence that helps deter incidents. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points at a financial institution location, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access-related records. Control access to restricted areas, issue and collect visitor passes or temporary credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
