Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma backgrounds, guiding tailored treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and building resilience.
\n
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process their experiences and develop coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention during emergencies related to trauma, ensuring immediate support for clients in distress.
\n
• Educate patients and families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available support resources.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and professional development events, focusing on the best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Stay updated on the latest research and innovations in trauma therapy to continually enhance your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve children, adolescents, and young adults who are navigating the challenges associated with trauma. Many clients may be dealing with the impacts of PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. Your expertise in trauma-informed therapy will empower these individuals to find healing, develop effective coping strategies, and regain control over their lives. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

Compensation and Benefits\n
