University of Colorado Anschutz Department: Medicine - General Internal Medicine Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider (APP)/(PA/NP)/Department of Medicine/General Internal Medicine/Instructor-Assistant Professor Position #00806027 – Requisition #40264 Job Summary The Division of General Internal Medicine, Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (APP: Advanced Practice Provider) interested in a career as a clinician, practicing and teaching general internal medicine in a patient‑centered medical home located in the Denver Metro Area. The APP will have opportunity for academic promotion judged on criteria of demonstrated excellence as a clinician/educator/scholar. APPs are encouraged to collaborate with other faculty in clinical research projects. Key Responsibilities Provide primary care for patients at a University of Colorado Hospital or CU Medicine Internal Medicine Clinic for new, continuity, hospital/ED follow‑up, acute, and annual/wellness exams. Provide care for empaneled patients as well as acute care for teammate's patients as needed. Share responsibilities for night, weekend, and vacation coverage with other members of the group practice. There may be opportunities to serve as a preceptor for APP students. Work Location Onsite – This role is expected to work onsite and is located in the Denver Metro Area. Anticipated Pay Range The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as: Instructor – $113,000 – 130,000 Senior Instructor – $130,000 – 140,000 Assistant Professor – $113,000 – 130,000 The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
