Senior Payroll Associate

One of Kforce's best financial services clients in Boston, MA is in search of a Senior Payroll Associate. This role is hybrid, 3 days a week, in office. Key Responsibilities:

• Senior Payroll Associate will process and review multi-state payroll activities
• Coordinate with external payroll providers and resolve payroll-related issues
• Prepare off-cycle and manual payments as needed
• Record payroll transactions and perform account reconciliations
• Manage employee deductions, benefit-related payroll items, and retirement plan updates
• Reconcile payroll and banking records
• As a Senior Payroll Associate, you will respond to employee payroll inquiries and support issue resolution
• Assist with audits, compliance requirements, and cross-functional projects
• Support ongoing process improvements and special initiatives
• Perform additional duties as needed
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
• 5-8 years of payroll, accounting, or related experience
• Experience with payroll platforms and HRIS systems
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion
