Vice President of Business Development

ITU AbsorbTech has an exciting opportunity for a Vice President of Business Development to join our executive leadership team onsite at our New Berlin, WI headquarters.

Summary of Position

As a key member of ITU AbsorbTech’s executive leadership team, the VP of Business Development will help turn long-term strategy into business results. This role provides leadership across Business Development, Service & Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, First Aid, and Direct Apparel, bringing these areas together around shared priorities for growth and an exceptional customer experience.

Success in this role means building strong leaders, identifying new opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering sustainable growth that supports ITU AbsorbTech’s Strategic Sustainability Plan.

In this role, you will:

• Help shape and execute ITU AbsorbTech’s Strategic Sustainability Plan and long-term organizational goals as a member of the Strategic Management Team.
• Develop and execute strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth, market expansion, customer retention, and long-term business success.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams across Business Development, Service & Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, First Aid, and Direct Apparel.
• Identify market and competitive trends, strengthen customer and strategic relationships, and translate new opportunities into action.
• Establish business objectives, KPIs, forecasts, and budgets to drive accountability and informed decision-making.
• Partner across the organization to strengthen talent, leadership capability, succession planning, branding, and customer experience while representing ITU AbsorbTech in alignment with our Business Tenets.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in business development, sales, marketing, commercial leadership, or a related area.
• Demonstrated success driving strategic growth and leading high-performing, cross-functional teams in a B2B environment.
• Strong business and financial acumen, including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and KPIs.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to move between big-picture strategy and execution.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial services, textile rental, or another B2B service industry preferred.

We have 15 facilities across the eastern US, servicing thousands of manufacturers by providing reusable uniforms, mops, towels, and mats. Since the mid-1990s, we've been the top choice in environmental services by offering launderable absorbents, replacing disposable products. Each year, we recover over 200,000 gallons of oil and solvents from our customers' used products.
