Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will engage in a variety of critical tasks to support the mental health and well-being of our clients:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead interactive and supportive group sessions that create a safe space for clients to share experiences, connect with one another, and foster community.

• Individual Therapy: Provide empathetic, personalized counseling to help clients explore their thoughts and feelings, develop effective coping strategies, and create actionable plans tailored to their personal goals.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that address their unique needs and preferences.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to evaluate and document client progress, ensuring that they remain on track toward achieving their therapeutic objectives.

• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Regularly communicate and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to coordinate care, consult on challenging cases, and share best practices for client well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on teens and young adults aged 18 to 30 who are navigating mental health challenges as part of our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). The insights and guidance you offer will help these individuals cultivate resilience, develop coping mechanisms, and achieve their life goals – all in a supportive, understanding environment.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification.

• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with a diverse team.

• Demonstrated experience working with youth or young adults in a mental health setting is preferred.
