Job Title: Workday HCM Administrator


Location: 100% Remote


Duration: 6 month CTH

Core HCM Configuration & Administration
• Configure and maintain Workday business processes, workflows, and system settings to support evolving organizational needs.
• Review and validate configurations delivered by implementation partners, ensuring alignment with business requirements and system standards.
• Lead the deployment of Workday feature releases and system updates, ensuring readiness through structured testing and validation prior to go-live.
• Lead the semi-annual Workday release review process, including evaluating new features, coordinating impact and regression testing, and communicating changes and recommendations to HR and business stakeholders.
• Execute data imports and exports (EIBs) to support HR operations and maintain data accuracy and integrity across the platform.

Security & Access Management
• Manage Workday security roles, domains, and role-based access controls across the organization.
• Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and data privacy requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve security-related configuration issues in partnership with HR and IT stakeholders.

Reporting & Analytics
• Design, build, and maintain custom and advanced reports, calculated fields, and dashboards to support HR, Finance, and leadership decision-making.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate complex data requests into actionable Workday reporting solutions.
• Support recurring reporting cycles including headcount, compensation, and compliance reporting.

Stakeholder Support & Collaboration
• Serve as a primary point of contact for Workday support across HR, Finance, business partners, and end users.
• Partner with HR operations and business leaders to gather requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance processes for system changes and new functionality.
• Provide end-user guidance and informal training to ensure effective use of Workday across the organization.

Integration Support
• Provide support for Workday integrations, including troubleshooting issues, coordinating with partners, and supporting enhancements as needed.

Required
• 3-5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience, including business process configuration, security administration, and reporting.
• Proven ability to manage Workday security roles, domains, and access controls in a complex environment.
• Strong reporting expertise, including building custom and advanced reports, calculated fields, and dashboards.
• Solid understanding of core HR processes, with the ability to translate business needs into effective system solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and data confidentiality.
• Effective communicator comfortable partnering with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and deliver timely, high-quality results.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field - or equivalent experience.

Preferred
• Workday Pro HCM or Workday Pro Security certification.
• Experience with EIB data loads and mass data management.
• Experience supporting Workday Compensation and/or Benefits modules.
• Familiarity with Workday release management and active engagement in the Workday Community.
• Experience supporting a global or enterprise-scale Workday environment.
