Additional Information

We are seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in Wisconsin. This ongoing assignment is available due to a long-term physician vacancy and offers a collaborative practice environment with strong clinical support.

Position Highlights

Full-time schedule
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Ongoing assignment
Inpatient and outpatient practice
Established multidisciplinary oncology team
Cerner EMR
Temporary privileges available

Clinical Responsibilities

Hematology-focused practice
Bone marrow biopsies
Inpatient and outpatient consultations
Management of acute leukemia patients
Chemotherapy patient supervision
Daily rounding responsibilities
Participation in call coverage rotation

Support & Resources

Collaborative team of physicians and APPs
Dedicated nursing support
Nurse navigators
Infusion center support staff
Access to radiation oncology services

Qualifications

MD or DO
Completion of Hematology/Oncology Fellowship
Board Eligible or Board Certified
ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications
Bone marrow biopsy experience required
Strong inpatient and outpatient hematology experience preferred

Call Coverage

1:4 call rotation
Primarily phone-based call
Limited call-back burden
Shared clinic and hospital responsibilities

Additional Details

Estimated credentialing time: 60 days
Malpractice coverage provided
Travel and lodging available per policy
Ongoing need with potential for long-term assignment
