SCCM SMS NETSTAT DHCP DNS Consultant

Consultant – SCCM SMS NETSTAT DHCP DNS Consultant (Columbus, OH). Contract position lasting 11 months, starting July 27, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027. Responsibilities Understanding of Desktop Support and Services. Understanding of Active Directory and AD Toolsets, ADUC, user authentication and authorization, and identity and access management. Using creativity and innovation to automate and streamline processes and procedures. Understanding customer support, working with people, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Ability to troubleshoot systematically; identify symptoms, research causes, and test & implement changes in production. Understanding basic networking principles, including troubleshooting connectivity issues, DHCP, DNS, and using tools such as PING, NSLOOKUP and NETSTAT. Experience with SCCM 2012, and ability to train others on its use. Ability to script with PowerShell 3.0 or above, including validation, editing, input/output, and automation for production systems, especially Active Directory. Ability to learn new tools such as Varonis to clean up and audit unstructured user data, Active Directory, and NTFS permissions. Qualifications Strong communication and leadership skills. Strong influence, collaboration, and negotiation experience. Ability to collaborate with supporting resources across business and functional lines. Excellent oral and written skills, with strong meeting and facilitation abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time and resources to meet deadlines. Strong understanding of prioritization derived from eliciting system and user requirements. Excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
