Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist, your primary responsibilities include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions through video chat, aiming to enhance clients' mental health and emotional well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting clients who have been pre-screened to ensure they are stable and have low acuity needs. This thoughtful client selection process allows therapists to concentrate on delivering high-quality, effective therapy without the pressures typical in more acute environments. You will engage with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various backgrounds and life experiences, providing you with opportunities to utilize your cultural competence and specialization.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• An independent license to practice therapy, such as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Note that limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.

• Proven ability to make clinical evaluations, formulate treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions effectively.

• Strong interpersonal skills coupled with a compassionate, empathetic nature.

• Competence in utilizing technology, ensuring effective communication and documentation through digital platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

While all qualified applicants will be considered, those with prior experience in a telehealth setting or specific therapy modalities (such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or mindfulness-based therapy) will be viewed favorably.
