Senior AccountantSalary: $90,000–$110,000Why This Opportunity Stands OutJoin a global, publicly traded industry leader where you'll have meaningful ownership, strong visibility across the organization, and opportunities to grow your career.Own the monthly close and reporting process for the North American business.Gain broad exposure to North American and corporate accounting while partnering with leaders and stakeholders across the organization.Build expertise in technical accounting areas including revenue recognition, sales incentives, debt, warranties, and financial reporting.Play a key role in process improvement, system enhancements, and accounting transformation initiatives.Develop valuable experience with SOX compliance, internal controls, audits, and public company accounting.Partner closely with FP&A and business leaders on budgeting, forecasting, operational reporting, and strategic initiatives.Join a company that offers excellent benefits and a clear path for career advancement.What You'll DoAs the Senior Accountant, you'll play an important role in maintaining accurate financial reporting and improving accounting processes across the North American organization.Lead and coordinate monthly close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of deliverables.Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, analyses, and supporting workpapers.Analyze financial results and ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX requirements.Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, analyses, and documentation.Identify and implement process improvements, control enhancements, and system improvements.Partner with FP&A and business teams on forecasting, budgeting, and operational reporting.Collaborate with corporate accounting and cross-functional stakeholders on special projects and strategic initiatives.What We're Looking For4+ years of experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both.Experience with month-end close and financial reporting.Strong understanding of US GAAP and accounting controls.Experience working in a public company environment and/or with SOX is preferred.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.A process-improvement mindset and interest in taking ownership of projects and initiatives.The Bottom LineThis is a strong opportunity for a Senior Accountant who wants to move beyond a traditional close-focused role and gain broader exposure to technical accounting, public company reporting, FP&A, business operations, and process transformation while building a path toward future career growth.
