Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to identify emotional, behavioral, and psychosocial issues, creating tailored treatment plans that address unique client needs.

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques.

• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and hospice staff, to develop integrated care plans that optimize client support and recovery outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date client records, documenting session notes, treatment progress, and any changes in client status, while ensuring compliance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards.

• Actively participate in ongoing professional development initiatives, including seminars, workshops, and peer supervision, to enhance clinical skills and stay informed on industry best practices.

• Advocate for client needs within the healthcare system, providing resources and referrals when necessary to ensure clients receive optimal support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily supports individuals and families facing end-of-life issues, complex grief, and emotional distress related to terminal illness. Your expertise will play a crucial role in facilitating therapeutic conversations, helping clients process emotions and fostering coping strategies that support mental health and quality of life during challenging times.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• An active and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of three years of post-graduate experience in mental health, particularly in outpatient or hospice settings, is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
