Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify emotional and behavioral disorders in clients of varying backgrounds.

• Diagnose specific mental health conditions in accordance with established criteria, ensuring accurate and informative client assessments.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with clients' therapeutic goals, utilizing appropriate evidence-based interventions and methodologies.

• Facilitate individual, couples, and group counseling sessions that address a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship dynamics.

• Teach clients effective coping mechanisms and self-care techniques, empowering them to manage stressors and enhance personal growth.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate clients' progress throughout the counseling process, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to adapt to their evolving needs.

• Collaborate and communicate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and accurate records of client interactions and progress, in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population includes individuals of all ages experiencing mental health challenges, there’s a particular focus on underserved groups in our community. As an LPC, you will be working with clients who may be facing significant life transitions, managing stress and anxiety, or coping with relationship and family issues. Your role will be crucial in helping clients navigate these difficult circumstances and achieve improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.

• Must hold a valid state licensure as a professional counselor.

• Proficiency in providing counseling for individuals, couples, and groups with diverse needs and backgrounds.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Demonstrated empathetic and non-judgmental approach to therapy, fostering a safe environment for open dialogue.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with diverse populations, including those from underrepresented communities.

• Prior telehealth experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this LPC position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
