Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Collaboratively establish therapeutic goals with clients and regularly monitor their progress to ensure effective treatment.

• Deliver virtual therapy sessions, utilizing teletherapy tools to accommodate clients who face transportation or mobility challenges.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in trainings, workshops, and clinical supervision to stay abreast of the latest therapeutic trends and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Med-Star Care Consultants, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals, couples, and families. You will have the opportunity to provide care to clients of various backgrounds, including those from underrepresented communities such as people of color and LGBTQIA individuals. Your expertise and compassionate approach will assist clients in overcoming a range of challenges such as addiction, trauma, anxiety, and depression, fostering resilience and enabling positive change.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• A current and valid state-issued license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of 2 years of full-time counseling experience, demonstrating an ability to handle complex cases.

• Experience working with couples, children, and families, particularly in diverse or underserved populations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proven ability to address the mental health needs of diverse populations, including people of color and LGBTQIA clients.

• Prior experience with teletherapy or remote counseling practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package. Our offerings include health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), malpractice insurance, paid vacation and sick leave, and retention bonuses. Additionally, we provide a biweekly bonus structure for clinicians meeting session targets or bringing in own clientele, along with 401(k) and flexible spending accounts.
