Work Environment\n

This role provides the flexibility and convenience of remote work while still being part of a collaborative outpatient team. As a full-time therapist, you will adhere to regular business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will have access to a variety of digital tools and systems that facilitate seamless communication with clients and fellow team members, allowing for effective monitoring and support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gauge the severity and duration of mood disorders in clients, ensuring individualized care based on their specific circumstances.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their goals and preferences, focusing on evidence-based practices.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver appropriate interventions that promote healing and coping skills.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, effective treatment options, and strategies for self-care and resilience.

• Monitor client progress closely, modifying treatment plans when necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care coordination.

• Stay informed on the latest research and evidence-based practices related to mood disorders, ensuring your therapeutic approaches are grounded in current knowledge.

• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a culture of continuous professional development and shared learning amongst colleagues.

• Actively advocate for clients, working to reduce stigma associated with mood disorders and promoting their mental health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with individuals who are experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Your expertise and empathetic approach will be essential for helping these clients navigate their challenges and achieve improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, specifically CBT and DBT, with a proven ability to develop and implement effective treatment strategies.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and experience working alongside psychiatrists to facilitate comprehensive care.

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with the capacity to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
