Details Hospital-based Operating Room setting Responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures 13-week assignment with 12-hour day shifts on weekdays 4x12 hour on-call requirement within an 8-week schedule period 36 hours per week Requirements Active RN license in DC required, no pending licenses accepted Current certifications: PALS, BLS, and ACLS (AHA only) Minimum 3 years of OR experience required Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required BSN highly desired At least 2 years of prior work experience in a US hospital in the OR specialty required Two manager or supervisor references required, verifying experience within the last 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer Additional Information Prepare the operating room for patients and surgical procedures, including assembling equipment and ensuring supplies and implants are available Adhere to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques throughout procedures Consult and coordinate with team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans Serve as a communication liaison between patients, families, and the operating team Must live within 50 miles of the facility Local candidates within the radius are accepted American Traveler Job ID P-747452.
