The Welder’s primary responsibility is the welding of all components to manufacture heavy hydraulic attachments. Work Type (Onsite): This position will be based onsite at our Two Harbors, MN facility. This job opening is not eligible for immigration/work visa sponsorship $1,200 sign on bonus! Responsibilities: Perform GMAW/MIG/Wire feed welding to AWS D1.1. standards Perform standard work and tasks common in a production welding environment following LaBounty procedures, quality and safety policies. Layout, fit-up, measure, and tack weldments. Arc air welding (experience beneficial, will train). Use of PPE (personal protective equipment) and adherence to all safety programs and policies Must be able to communicate fully with supervisor(s) and coworker(s). Assist in documenting standard work procedures and provide feedback and suggestions to continuously improve the quality of manufacturing processes. Closeout shop orders and follow the production schedule to facilitate timely part delivery/availability Maintain a safe and organized work area, including end-of-shift clean up in accordance with 5S standards. Perform autonomous maintenance for daily equipment functionality. This is a Safety-sensitive position. The salary for this position is between $22.00 and $34.00 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications. This range reflects our commitment to fair pay based on skills, experience, and marketstandards. Knowledge/Education: Good mechanical aptitude Knowledge of basic weld symbols on blueprints. Basic computer skills, MS-Office: MS Windows – Excel, Word & Outlook Comfortable and knowledgeable use of standard repair and hand tools Skills and Abilities: Able to use a tape measure, level, angle finders and squares Ability to understand and follow written and oral procedures and directions. Ability to handle all materials safely using a Jib hoist, overhead crane, and forklifts, including lifting devices (chains, straps, slings) An eye for details and precision Ability to operate all welding equipment if assigned. Continuous standing and walking. Intermittent bending/twisting, pushing/pulling, climbing, lifting/lowering. Intermittent use of hand/wrist. Ability to safely handle materials using cranes, hoists, forklifts, chains, and slings is required This is a safety-sensitive position; PPE is required at all times.
