We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our collaborative healthcare team at Klarity Health Consultation and Counseling Center in Buffalo, New York. We focus primarily on patients with private medical insurance, allowing us to provide personalized care tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Our team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, all of whom are passionate about rehabilitation and patient care.

Work Environment

Your role will be performed onsite in our outpatient office, where you will engage closely with patients in a modern, well-equipped setting. The working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, enabling a consistent routine and work-life balance. You will have access to advanced therapeutic equipment and the latest technology in rehabilitation techniques, enhancing both your productivity and the patient healing experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Klarity Health, you will:

• Assess patient conditions and establish personalized treatment objectives that align with their recovery goals.
• Manage a patient caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring personalized and thorough care for each individual.
• Implement effective interventions that include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to the needs of orthopedic outpatients.
• Document patient progress meticulously, including evaluations, treatment plans, and outcomes to maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
• Motivate patients through encouragement and progress tracking to promote adherence to their rehabilitation regimens.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare specialists, to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Continuously evaluate and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback to ensure strategic healing paths.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, including those who have undergone surgeries or suffer from chronic conditions that limit mobility. Your expertise will play a critical role in maximizing their functional abilities, focusing on promoting independence and enhancing quality of life through targeted physical therapy interventions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this Physical Therapist role will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York State.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or license revocations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques to facilitate recovery.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:

• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient environment with familiarity in a range of physical therapy methods.
• Skills in creating functional exercise regimens tailored to patients' specific rehabilitation needs.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to enhance documentation accuracy and efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits
