Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Concentra Rehabilitation Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their mobility, strength, and rehabilitation needs.
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that support each patient's recovery goals.
• Administering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities, to promote healing and restore function.
• Providing education to patients and their caregivers, ensuring understanding of treatment goals, home exercise programs, and lift techniques.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes in line with state regulations and organizational guidelines.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes, ensuring a seamless transition through each phase of care.
• Meeting productivity targets while maintaining a high standard of care and client satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will give you the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including those suffering from orthopedic injuries, pediatric conditions, neurological disorders, and sports-related injuries. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong computer proficiency for documentation and software utilization.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
