Staff Librarian

Position Details Title: Staff Librarian Position number: 000771 Department: Library - MU2060 Full‑time, 0.53 or greater FTE, class exempt, E‑Class CX - Class Exempt, FT. Work location: MU – Marshall University Schedule: evening shift Salary Range: $38,722 – $50,339, commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity. Responsibilities Provide circulation, reference, and research support at Drinko Library during the evening shift, helping to fulfill the library’s mission of assisting students, faculty, and staff with their research needs. Qualifications Required Qualifications Master’s degree in Library Science or a related field. 1 to 4 years of library experience. Preferred Qualifications None specified. Benefits Work week is 37.5 hours. Two weeks off for Winter Break. 13 paid holidays. Annual and sick leave: up to 24 days of annual leave per year (maximum 360 hours) and up to 18 days of sick leave per year for classified, non‑classified staff and 12‑month faculty. Health insurance through West Virginia Public Employees Insurance Agency (PEIA) with seven health benefit plans. Educational/tuition benefits for regular employees after probation and for dependent children.
