Accounting Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Assistant to join a growing team in Columbus, GA. Responsibilities Perform accurate data entry and maintain accounting records. Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, update, and analyze information. Answer incoming phone calls with a professional and courteous demeanor. Communicate effectively with customers and dealers regarding account-related inquiries. Assist with general accounting and administrative tasks. Maintain organized files and documentation. Verify information for accuracy and completeness. Support the accounting team with daily office operations. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail. Professional phone etiquette and strong verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized. Customer service or call center experience is a plus. Previous accounting experience is preferred but not required.
