Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Perform thorough assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs, employing standardized tools and methods to create effective treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions using a variety of modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy.

• Collaborate closely with case managers and psychiatrists to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, ensuring a cohesive approach to treatment that addresses all aspects of their well-being.

• Deliver crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute psychological distress, offering immediate solutions and referrals as necessary.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives, participating in workshops and educational presentations to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, applicants must:

• Hold a valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Possess a master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exhibit cultural competence and sensitivity, allowing for effective client interactions across diverse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in outpatient settings and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be advantageous. Additional certifications in trauma-informed care or specialized therapeutic approaches will enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
