Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments to identify clients' emotional, social, and mental health needs, using evidence-based tools and methodologies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, considering their goals, preferences, and challenges.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, helping clients navigate their detox experiences, emotional hurdles, and life transitions.

• Work with clients' families to educate them about substance use disorders, develop support strategies, and facilitate communication within family dynamics.

• Serve as an advocate for clients, promoting their rights and access to available community resources such as support groups, rehabilitation programs, and aftercare services.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring continuous support and addressing any emerging needs.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with adults undergoing detoxification from addictions, as well as their families. Understanding the complexities associated with substance use, you will provide empathetic support, helping clients re-establish a sense of normalcy and improve their quality of life during a critical period of change.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LICSW licensure in the state of Massachusetts.

• A minimum of two years of direct experience in social work, ideally within a substance use or detox context.

Compensation and Benefits\n
