Brooklyn, NY | Full-Time | On-Site

Salary: $65,000–$75,000

A mission-driven nonprofit organization is seeking an Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its Brooklyn office and community space. This person will serve as the primary on-site point of contact, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and well-functioning environment for staff, visitors, and community members.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily office operations, supplies, common areas, and vendor relationships
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and serve as liaison to building management
  • Handle bill pay, invoice tracking, and administrative financial tasks
  • Support events, meetings, and community programs, including occasional evening/weekend coverage
  • Maintain calendars, records, website updates, and other operational systems
  • Serve as a key resource for staff, visitors, and external partners

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of office management, operations, facilities, administrative, or hospitality experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable coordinating vendors, facilities issues, and administrative processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and common business applications
  • Professional communication skills and a proactive, service-oriented approach
