Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Millennial Counseling Centre, you will:

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health histories and recovery needs.

• Design and implement customized treatment plans that cater to individual trauma recovery goals and resilience-building.
\n
• Effectively utilize therapeutic methodologies including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging clients to express feelings, develop coping strategies, and foster emotional healing.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention when necessary, addressing urgent trauma-related situations with empathy and urgency.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, recovery pathways, and resources available to them.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending case consultations, team meetings, and relevant training focused on trauma-informed care.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and best practices within the trauma therapy field to continuously enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals experiencing trauma-related disorders, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clients may come from various backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and recovery needs. The therapist will play a pivotal role in guiding them toward resilience and improved mental health, fostering a therapeutic alliance built on trust and understanding.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, demonstrating competence in providing mental health services.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building techniques.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, showcasing a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
