Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Calm Vitality, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting intake assessments to determine the mental health status of new clients and agreeing on treatment plans collaboratively.

• Developing and implementing individualized therapeutic interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs and treatment goals.

• Meeting with clients regularly through video conferencing or other telecommunication methods to provide ongoing support and evaluation of their progress.

• Equipping clients with coping strategies and tools to manage their mental health issues effectively, ensuring they feel empowered to face their challenges.

• Referring clients to other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists or medical professionals, when complex issues require a multidisciplinary approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be supporting clients dealing with a range of mental health disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance abuse. You will work with individuals from various backgrounds and communities, customizing your therapeutic approach to respect cultural differences and varying life experiences. A solid understanding of cultural competence will enable you to effectively support a diverse patient population.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• A comprehensive understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
