Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, equipping patients with coping strategies and techniques to manage their mental health effectively.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates, to comply with department policies and ensure continuity of care.

• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to communicate patient status, progress, and any concerns, facilitating a coordinated approach to patient care.

• Lead community outreach and engagement efforts, building relationships with local resource groups and representing Shirley Mental Health Services at meetings and community committees focused on social needs and mental health advocacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a diverse patient population comprising individuals with varying mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and other behavioral health issues. By tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each client, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals achieve their mental health goals and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• An independent license is mandatory, such as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health counseling setting is necessary.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in telehealth practices and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems are highly desired. Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, will contribute to your success in supporting our clients effectively. Previous engagement with community outreach initiatives will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
