Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments utilizing evidence-based practices to develop tailored treatment plans that facilitate each client's unique journey toward mental wellness.

• Implement a diverse range of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and more, to help clients gain strength and resilience in facing their mental health challenges.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, with strict adherence to HIPAA and regulatory standards to uphold the organization’s commitment to ethical practice.

• Collaborate with an integrated treatment team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health practitioners to provide holistic and comprehensive care, maximizing client benefits through teamwork.

• Participate in case consultations and peer reviews to continuously enhance the quality and effectiveness of care, ensuring alignment with the latest best practices in the mental health field.

• Educate and empower clients and their families about mental health conditions and available community resources, thus fostering resilience and informed decision-making.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population comprising children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. Your expertise will be essential in addressing issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. This role requires a sensitive approach to cultural and individual differences, ensuring that care is respectful and relevant to each client's background and personal experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State, reflecting your professional qualifications and commitment to best practices.

• Strong ability to apply solution-focused psychotherapy techniques to tailor treatments for individual clients effectively.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of trusting therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

While three years of experience in a mental health setting is required, preferred candidates will have advanced knowledge of modern therapeutic methodologies and a history of positive client outcomes. Experience related to school settings or working with youth populations will be a strong advantage, given the nature of our service to local schools.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a highly competitive salary range of USD 90,000–100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
