Clinical Laboratory Technologist

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist Trainee for its Burlington, North Carolina facility. The role involves performing laboratory testing procedures, operating instrumentation, and ensuring specimen quality and accurate results. Full training is provided for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate specimen acceptability according to established criteria
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures using laboratory instrumentation
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper function
• Prepare, test and evaluate reagents and controls
• Perform preventative maintenance and quality control procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Proficient with computers and laboratory information systems
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
• Preferred: 3+ months clinical laboratory testing experience
• Preferred: ASCP or AMT certification
